Tomato and Macaroni Casserole

Directions

  1. Cook bacon crisp.
  2. Cool and drain.
  3. Cook macaroni and drain.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter.
  5. Add flour, salt, and pepper; remove from heat.
  6. Gradually add milk.
  7. Return to heat and cook, stirring, until mixture thickens.
  8. Add 2 cups shredded cheese; stir to melt.
  9. Add bacon.
  10. Spread half the macaroni in casserole.
  11. Top with half of tomato slices and half the cheese sauce.
  12. Repeat layer.
  13. Top with paprika and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
