Tomato and Balsamic Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 lb pasta
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 3  garlic cloves, minced
  • 2  tablespoons  oil
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes (diced itallian flavor)
  • 3  tablespoons basil, fresh, chopped (or 1 tbsp. dried)
  • 2 -3  tablespoons  balsamic vinegar
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to directions.
  2. Heat oil in large sauce pan on medium heat.
  3. Add onions and garlic, saute for 3 minutes.
  4. Add tomatoes, basil, bring to a simmer.
  5. Add balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese.
