Toffee Candy

This recipe is from a friend of mine. I make it at Christmas to give away.

Ready In: 20 mins

Yields: 1 pan

Ingredients

  • 1  cup  almonds, chopped
  • 12 cup butter
  • 34 cup brown sugar
  • 4  Hershey Bars

Directions

  1. Butter 8" pan generously. Cover bottom with almonds. Melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 6 minutes stirring constantly. Remove and pour over almonds. While still hot lay Hershey bars on top. After a couple of minutes spread melted chocolate over candy. Cool and break into pieces.
