Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
Directions
- Mix milk, sugar, syrup, butter and salt in a pan.
- Cook over low heat stirring to prevent scorching.
- Cook to hard crack stage.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into buttered pan.
- Allow to cool.
- Score.
- Remove from pan when well cooled.
- Break into pieces.
