Toasted Walnut Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup egg substitute
- 1 cup nonfat milk
- 1⁄4 cup canola oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
Directions
- Combine flours, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- Combine egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry mixture just until moistened. Fold in nuts.
- Transfer to an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan coated with nonstick spray.
- Bake at 350 degrees 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
