Yields: 1 quart
Ingredients
- 1 cup tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
- 3 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 3 cucumbers, finely chopped
- 2 cucumbers, cut into small chunks
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons chives, chopped
- 1 -2 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 3 shakes Tabasco sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cups tomato juice
Directions
- Combine ingredients in bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly, at least 4 hours. Serve in chilled cups. May top with croutons if desired.
