Three Cheese Macaroni

Macaroni baked with a sauce flavored with smoked and sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheeses and topped with breadcrumbs. Serve with a tomato and onion salad. Yum! Show more

  1. Cook the macaroni according to pack instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the flour and cook, stirring for 1 minute Remove the pan from the heat and gradually blend in the milk.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Simmer for 5 mins, stirring.
  4. Stir in the mustard, smoked cheddar, mozzarella, 2 oz of the sharp cheddar and the macaroni. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Lightly butter a large shallow ovenproof dish and spoon in the macaroni mixture. Sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and the remaining cheddar and bake in a preheated oven at 400F for 15-20 mins until golden and bubbling.
