Yields: 5 cups mix
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 cup oat bran flour (not absolutely necessary, but increases health qualities)
- 1⁄2 cup dry buttermilk (I use Safco...can be bought in most groceries, baking aisle)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 cup sugar (or can substitute Splenda)
- 1 tablespoon butter-flavored sprinkles (I used Butterbuds from spice aisle in grocery)
- 1⁄3 cup vegetable oil
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients in food processor or electric mixer.
- Slowly pour in the oil as the machine is running.
- Scrape the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
- Mix thoroughly again.
- Store in airtight container in the frig or freezer.
