Thermomix Bar Cookies from Cakemix

Almost too easy! This recipe can be adapted at will. I've used, chocolate chips, nuts, candy bars, candied fruit - just about anything sweet and yummy. I've listed the exact ingredients that I used the last time I baked these - but experiment experiment experiment. Show more

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease the bottom only of a 9x13 pan.
  3. Place the nuts in the TM bowl. Hit turbo a few times until chopped to desired consistency. Tip out and set aside with the craisins and chocolate chips.
  4. Place butterfly in TM. Add the butter and brown sugar. Mix 15 seconds/speed 4, or until fluffy. Remove butterfly.
  5. Set to speed 3 and add egg and water through the hole in the lid.
  6. Set to speed 4 and gradually add the cake mix.
  7. When the mixture looks thoroughly combined remove lid and add the nuts, craisins and chips.
  8. Mix through by hand (using the blades will just chop the daylights out of everything).
  9. Press the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
