The Ultimate Fudge Sauce

Serve with ice cream or sweet breads

• Yields: 1 1/4 cups

Ingredients

• 2  ounces  unsweetened chocolate
• 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 cup light corn syrup
• 1⁄2 cup milk
• 2  tablespoons butter
• 1  tablespoon vanilla

Directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients over low heat; stir often.
2. Add butter. Cool slightly, then add vanilla.
