The Most Fantastic Burger

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 lbs ground beef (Preferably) or 2 1⁄2 lbs ground sirloin (Preferably)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 egg yolks
- 6 tablespoons ketchup
- 3⁄4 cup red onion, diced
Directions
- Mix all ingredients with the exception of the beef.
- Add beef to mixture and mix until well balanced. Do not over work the mixture!
- Form into patties ¾”- 1” thick. If you are serving on a 5” bun, start the burgers at a 5”diameter.
- Grill to desired preference. This is a delicate burger and once on the grill should be turned only once.
- Serving condiments should include: Mayonnaise, Green Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, Onion (Red or White), Dill Pickle Slices, **Avocado – Optional – adds a California Flair – Some like it some do not.
