The Martine Inn Butter Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- 5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats or 1 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
- 5 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 (15 ounce) box Raisin Bran cereal
- 4 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup honey
- 4 eggs, beaten
Directions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add all the remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
- To bake: preheat oven to 400F and line muffin cups with papers.
- Do not stir batter after being chilled; scoop batter from the top.
- Fill prepared muffin pans 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
