  1. Grease a 9 X 5 X 3 inch loaf pan.
  2. Beat butter or margarine, sugar and egg in a large bowl until fluffy.
  3. Combine bananas and milk in a bowl.
  4. Sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda onto wax paper.
  5. Stir into sugar mixture alternately with banana-milk mixture.
  6. Stir in nuts.
  7. Turn into prepared pan.
  8. Bake at 350 degree for 1 hour or until center springs back.
  9. Cool in pan on rack for 5 minutes.
  10. Turn out of pan and cool completely.
