Thai Inspired Peanut Sauce
Ready In: 6 mins
Serves: 1-4
Yields: 1 pot of sauce
Ingredients
- 3⁄4 cup peanut butter (chunky or creamy doesn't matter)
- 3 -4 tablespoons soy sauce (not carmel color and sodium benzoate)
- 2 1⁄2 tablespoons hoisin sauce (not high fructose corn goop but fermented soybeans)
- 1 -100 tablespoon sriracha sauce or 1 -100 tablespoon your favorite hot sauce or 1 -100 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1 minced garlic clove
- water (to thin out the sauce use as much or as little as you need) or coconut milk
Directions
- Take all ingredients and mix them together in a small pot on medium heat until all mixed and hot (and garlic is cooked) add more water if things are still a bit thick. (if it starts to boil turn the heat down and usually you will need to add more water sometimes not).
- Serve over pasta or noodles of some sort and add some stirfried veggies/tofu for a fuller meal.
