Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄4 cups butter
- 1⁄2 cup cocoa, divided
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk, divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions
- CAKE: Melt 1 cup of the butter.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of the cocoa.
- Add 1 cup water.
- Boil, then remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
- Add the chocolate mixture and beat well.
- Stir in 1/3 cup of the condensed milk, the eggs and the vanilla.
- Pour into greased jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
- FROSTING: Melt the remaining 1/4 cup butter, the remaining 1/4 cup cocoa and remaining condensed milk.
- Stir in powdered sugar and nuts.
- Spread onto warm cake.
