Tex-Mex Black Bean and Smoked Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 (30 ounce) can black beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1⁄2 cup hot salsa (homemade or purchased)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon catsup
- 1 lb smoked sausage or 1 lb kielbasa, sliced or 1 lb meat, substitute sliced
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Drain and rinse beans.
- Chop sausage.
- Mix everything well in an ovenproof casserole dish.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour.
- Uncover and bake another 20-30 minutes.
