Teriyaki Marinade

Teriyaki marinade for chicken, steak, or pork. I got this recipe from a restaurant when I was in my late teens. We used it on flank steak in the restaurant, but I have found it works great for chicken and pork as well. Meat is best if grilled over a very hot flame. I cut the meat into smaller pieces to shorted the marinating time. Show more

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs chicken, Steak or 2  lbs pork
  • 12 cup soy sauce
  • 12 cup honey
  • 1  cup  pineapple juice
  • 2  teaspoons  minced garlic, cloves*
  • 2  teaspoons garlic, powder*
  •  garlic, can be adjusted to taste

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a non-reactive bowl.
  2. Place meat into a gallon plastic bag.
  3. Pour marinade over meat and seal bag.
  4. Place in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight depending on thickness of meat.
