Teriyaki Marinade

Yields: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup mirin or 1⁄4 cup dry sherry
- 1⁄4 cup salad oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot
- 2 cloves garlic
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour over desired meat in a large zip lock bag and marinate preferably overnight, but at least 3 or 4 hours.
- Makes enough for 2-3 pounds of meat.
