Tequila Marinade

This came from Bon Appetit and is just superb!!! I can't stress how wonderful this marinade is!!! It originally calls to be a beef marinade, but I think would be good with pork or chicken, too.

• Yields: 4 lbs meat

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup fresh lime juice
• 1⁄2 cup  chopped fresh cilantro
• 1⁄2 cup olive oil
• 1⁄3 cup soy sauce
• 1⁄4 cup  tequila
• 7  cloves garlic, minced
• 2  teaspoons  grated lime zest
• 2  teaspoons ground cumin
• 2  teaspoons ground oregano
• 1  teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

1. Combine ingredients and marinate meat for 2-4 hours.
2. (If a flank steak, do even longer- up to overnight).
