Tater-Tot Casserole

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 tablespoon oil
- 1⁄2 onion, small, chopped
- 4 ounces mushrooms, fresh and sliced
- 1⁄2 lb ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1⁄2 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons brown gravy mix (Brown Gravy Mix)
- 1 1⁄2 cups colby-monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 0.5 (24 ounce) bag tater tots
- 1⁄2 cup French fried onion rings
Directions
- Preheat oven, 400 deg.
- In a large skillet, heat oil. Add chopped onion, mushrooms and saute for 10 min until soft.
- In a 2 quart casserole, line bottom and edges with tater tots. Bake at 400 deg. for 10 minutes.
- Add ground beef to skillet with onion and mushrooms and brown. Remove from heat and add drained corn.
- Meanwhile in a med. bowl, mix soup, 1 Cup cheese, milk, and spices.
- Take casserole out of the oven, add beef, onion, mushroom and corn mixture into the center.
- Pour soup mixture over the top of the beef.
- Bake covered for 20 minutes.
- Remove cover and add the remaining cheese and French fried onions.
- Put back into the oven until cheese is melted approximately 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and serve.
