Tangy Pineapple Cabbage

This is a Jamaican side dish and is often served with grilled pork or jerk chicken. Use can pineapple and reserve liquid. Spinach or mustard greens can also be substitued for cabbage. Show more

  1. Cut cabbage into 6 wedges.
  2. In a skillet, bring 1/2 cup of the reserved pineapple liquid to a boil.
  3. Add pineapple into cubes add to cabbage with remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until crisp tender or for 5 minutes.
