Tahitian Coconut Bread

Yields: 5 loaves
Ingredients
- 2 cups coconut
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
Directions
- Combine shredded cocunut, sugar and water. Blend flour and baking powder together. Mix all ingredients to a doughy texture adding a little flour as needed so it is not too sticky. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake in oven at 350 for 1 hr to 1 1/2 hurs until lightly golden. This is written to make 5 loaves but I'm guessing it depends on the size of your pan.
