Tagliatelle a La Hudson - Lemon Cream Pasta

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons finely shredded lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounces tagliatelle pasta noodles or 8 ounces fettuccine
- 1 cup whipping cream, heated
- 1⁄3 lb prosciutto, cut into strips
- 3⁄4 cup fresh-grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- In a small bow, combine the lemon peel and softened butter; set aside. Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water just until tender; drain.
- Transfer the pasta to a warm serving bowl. Add the lemon butter and warm cream. Toss gently to coat. Add the prosciutto. Serve pasta sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.
