Taco Soup

Yields: 1 cup
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean hamburger or 1 lb turkey meat, browned and drained
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn (Undrained)
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans (Undrained)
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans (Undrained)
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 2 (10 ounce) cans Rotel tomatoes & chilies
- 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 1 (1 ounce) packet ranch dressing or 1 (1 ounce) packet dip mix
- 2 cups water
Directions
- Brown hamburger/turkey and chopped onion and drain. Add meat and onion to large pot (I use my stock pot). Add all the other ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn on low and simmer for about thirty minutes. Serve by itself or you can top with a little sour cream and cheese -- Great with french bread.
