Taco Seasoning

I found this recipe on Food Network and it's a great choice instead of using a pre-packaged envelope of taco seasoning from the grocery. I had all of the spices on hand so it was quick and easy. Great with chicken and hamburger meat.

Ingredients

• 2  tablespoons onion powder
• 2  tablespoons garlic powder
• 1  tablespoon chili powder
• 1  teaspoon dried oregano
• 1  teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1  teaspoon ground cumin
• 1⁄4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Directions

1. In a small bowl combine above ingredients, mix well. Add to cooked meat or chicken with one cup of water. Bring to boil. Simmer for about approximately 12 minutes.
