Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 5 teaspoons paprika
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 3 teaspoons onion powder
- 3 teaspoons salt or 3 teaspoons seasoned salt
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Additional Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb chicken
- 2⁄3-3⁄4 cup water
Directions
- In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and store in airtight container in cool dry place for up to 6 months. This recipe will make approximately 3 batches of tacos.
- Cook beef over medium heat till no longer pink and then drain.
- Add water, and 1/2 cup of seasoning mix. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, simmer for 10 minutes uncovered.
