Taco Seasoning

This recipe came from the magazine Cooking for 2. It is very good if you like tacos and the like but can't have all the salt.

• Yields: 3/4 cup

Ingredients

• 8  teaspoons  dried onion, minced
• 2  tablespoons chili powder
• 2  teaspoons cornstarch
• 2  teaspoons garlic powder
• 2  teaspoons cumin, ground
• 1  teaspoon oregano, dried
• 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients.
2. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to a year.
