Tabasco Jelly

Yields: 4 cups

Ingredients

  • 3  cups sugar
  • 1  cup water
  • 13 cup lemon juice
  • 4 -6  tablespoons Tabasco sauce
  • 13 cup  liquid pectin
  • 1  tablespoon  liquid pectin
  •  red food coloring, for desired color

Directions

  1. Bring first four ingredients to a boil over medium high heat in a medium iron pot. Add both pectin measures and let the mixture come to a boil again. While boiling stir constantly for 1 minute. Add the food coloring to make it prettier and pour the jelly into prepared jelly glasses and seal. Cool and store in the refrigerator.
