Sweet & Simple Caramel Pie

Yields: 1 pie
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 baked pastry shells
- whipped cream, for topping
Directions
- Beat the egg,add the milk.
- Cream together the butter,flour& sugar.
- Add this to the egg mixture.
- Cook on top of double boiler,until it thickens.
- Stir constantly!
- Let cool,then stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into the shell.
- Spread the whipped cream over pie.
