Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients
- 4 large sweet potatoes, with skins
- 4 slices bacon
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1⁄2 cup light cream
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
Directions
- cook sweet potatoes in salted boiling water. when done, remove from water, peel and puree.
- preheat over to 375*F.
- cook bacon until crispy, then chop coarsely, and set aside.
- incorporate all remaining ingredients, except bacon into pureed potatoes. mix well and correct seasonings.
- place mixture in baking dish and cook 18 minutes in oven. sprinkle bacon over potatoes and continue cooking 5 minutes.
- serve.
