Sweet Pear Salsa for Dessert for Cake or Ice Cream

quick and easy dessert salsa. Serve with pound cake, angelfood, or ice cream. Goes well with my apple and mint jelly pastries and some ice cream. Quick recipe for pasty: bake phyllo dough triangles with a slice of apple and mint jelly atop.

Ingredients

• 3  pears, cored and diced
• 1⁄3 cup  shredded coconut
• 1⁄4 cup  orange-flavored liqueur or 1⁄4 cup  thawed  frozen orange juice concentrate
• 2  tablespoons  chopped mint

Directions

1. Combine pears, coconut, liqueur and mint. Let stand 20 minutes. Serve over cake or ice cream.
