Sweet Garlicky Cheese Log

This comes from the little cookbook "Nova Scotia Potluck by Shelagh Duffet". It is quite different from other cheese log recipes I have tried and well received. Servings are approximate because it depends on appetites. Chill time is cook time. Enjoy.... Show more

  1. Mix together the cream cheese and garlic and form into a log on waxed paper. Refrigerate until firm.
  2. Cream together the sugar, butter, dry mustart and Worcestershire sauce and ice the log with this mixture. Place on an attractive plate for serving purposes.
  3. Pat the crushed nuts onto the log.
  4. Serve with a knife and a heavy type cracker.
