Sweet Clafoutis

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⁄2 cup ground almonds
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 7 tablespoons sour cream
- 7 tablespoons whole milk
- 12 ounces cherries, pitted (or any soft berries)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Butter and flour a 9" pie plate (not deep dish), or 6 individual oven-safe ramekins.
- Whisk the eggs with the sugar and salt until pale yellow and thick.
- Sift flour and ground almonds together and fold into egg mixture. Stir in sour cream and milk.
- Spread cherries evenly across the bottom of prepared dish. Pour batter over the cherries. Bake for 35 minutes (20 minutes for ramekins), or until golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
