Sweet Beef, Chick Pea, and Apple Chili

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 sweet apple, chopped
- 2 cups dried garbanzo beans (dry, not prepared)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons sweet vermouth
- 3 cups water
Directions
- Season beef with salt and pepper and Brown.
- Add onions and remaining seasoning, cook until starting to turn clear.
- add apple and garbanzo beans and stir. Cook a few minutes.
- Add water (enough to cover ingredients in pressure cooker).
- Put in pressure cooker, low pressure for 40 minutes.
- Switch to slow cook and leave until ready to eat (1-3 hours).
- This recipe can also be completed on the stove top. Cook time 3 hours.
