Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 stalk green onion, minced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
Directions
- Heat oil in a small pot on medium heat. Add the green onion and garlic and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine 1/4 cup water, salt, sugar, soy sauce, and vinegar. Add to the pot and bring to a rolling boil. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch and 3 tbsp water in a glass until well mixed. Slowly add to pot, stirring constantly. Simmer, stirring constantly, until thick.
