Ingredients
- 1 cup lentils (soak lentils in water at least one hour)
- 2 1⁄2 cups water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 bay leaf
Directions
- cook above until tender and then add:
- 1/4 cup apple or pineapple juice.
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.
- 1/4 cup brown sugar.
- 1 clove garlic crushed.
- sauteed onions if desired.
- heat to bubbly, serve over brown or white rice.
