Super-Simple Sloppy Joes

i took this from a recipe book intitled easy ground beef recipes.

Serves: 8

Yields: 8 sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 (19 ounce) can  refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1  lb lean ground beef
  • 12 cup  chopped green bell pepper
  • 1  small onion, chopped
  • 1 14 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 (10 3/4ounce) can  condensed tomato soup
  • 14 cup water
  • 18-14 teaspoon  hot pepper sauce

Directions

  1. bake biscuits as directed on can.
  2. meanwhile, cook ground beef, bell pepper and onion in large skillet until beef is thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently.
  3. drain.
  4. stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. cover.
  6. simmer 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  7. split warm biscuits.
  8. spoon beef mixture onto biscuits.
