Sunshine Chicken Salad

Yields: 1 salad

Ingredients

  • 12 cup water
  • 14 cup margarine
  • 14 cup flour
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 2  eggs
  • 2 12 cups  cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar  Cheez Whiz, spread
  • 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1  cup celery, sliced
  •  sliced almonds, for topping

Directions

  1. Bring water and margarine to a boil. Add flour and salt; stir vigorously over low heat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread batter on bottom of greased 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 400* for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Loosen shell from rim of pan; cool before removing. Combine chicken and cheese spread in saucepan; heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Add oranges and celery. Spoon chicken mixture into shell; top with almonds.
