Summer Squash Au Gratin

Great way to use up all those squash this summer.

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 14 cup butter
  • 4  cups  thinly sliced  summer squash
  • 1  medium  sliced onion
  • 1  teaspoon salt
  • 1  dash pepper
  • 14 cup water
  • 12 cup  grated cheese (any variety)

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add squash, onion, salt, pepper and water.
  3. Cook covered 10 - 15 minutes or until squash is tender.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese.
  5. Eat and enjoy.
