Summer Salad

I make this with fresh veggies from the farmer's market in the summer. You can change it up by using different types of dressings. Sometims I use Greek or Balsamic instead. Show more

Directions

  1. Wash the vegetables.
  2. Core and chop the tomatoes.
  3. Peel and chop the onion and cucumber.
  4. Shred the basil.
  5. Toss the vegetables and basil in a bowl.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss with enough dressing to coat the veggies well.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
