Sugary Pastry Crisps

A very yummy easy treat made with refrigerated pie crusts. Takes minutes to make.

Serves: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) box  refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
  • 3  tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1  teaspoon cinnamon
  • 14 cup  chopped pecans
  • 14 cup honey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Bring crusts to room temperature.
  3. Place one pie crust on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Seal any cracks.
  5. Crumble brown sugar evenly over entire crust.
  6. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and nuts.
  7. Place second pie crust over the first and press down firmly with a flat hand.
  8. Press edges of two crusts together with your fingertips.
  9. Bake until light brown, about 11 minutes.
  10. Slice into wedges and place on serving plate.
  11. Drizzle honey over top of slices.
