Sugar Sandwiches

Sugar and margarine sladdered between two slices of bread. My grandfather who I called "Gump" when I was a little kid used to make me these sandwiches as a snack for me. Come to find out many years later my mom told me my "Gump" made these for her to when she was a kid. I still eat these once in a while as comfort food as I think they are good. Yum! You can use softened butter in place of the margarine but this is what my gram had on hand most often. Show more
