Sugar Cookies

I have searched high and low for a sugar cookie recipe that stays soft and moist and this IS IT!! This is a fantastic cookie for the holidays (or year round in my house). Enjoy!

Ingredients

• 1  cup sugar
• 1  cup butter
• 3  eggs
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1⁄2 teaspoon  almond extract
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1  teaspoon baking soda
• 3  cups flour

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar together until well combined and then add the eggs vanilla and almond extract.
2. Sift dry ingredients together and add to wet mixture.
3. Roll out about 1/4" thick and cut into your favorite shapes.
