- Melt margarine. Remove from heat. Add sugar, egg, vanilla. Beat smooth for one minute. Sift dry ingredients over and blend well.
- Cover and chill for 30 minutes. Shape into two 1 1/2 inch thick rolls. Wrap in wax paper.
- Chill one hour.
- Slice and bake on a greased cookie sheet at 350*F for 10 to 12 minutes.
