Stunning Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg (large)
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons milk
TOPPING
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
- Cream butter.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Add flour, cinnamon, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix (probably wont be smooth, just mix until it's incorporated).
- Add milk.
- Mix until thoroughly mixed (doughy, I used my hands).
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- While refrigerating, mix the sugar and the cinnamon.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
- Roll the balls in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
- Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from pan immediately.
- They taste the best still warm.
