Stuffed French Toast

A great dish for a breakfast brunch. This was from my wedding bridal shower, so comes with great memories! Show more

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 1  loaf  bread, cubed (Italian loaf, works best if bread is not fresh)
  • 4  ounces cream cheese
  • 1  tablespoon vanilla
  • 8  eggs
  • 13 cup honey
  • 1 13 cups milk or 1 13 cups  cream

Directions

  1. Mix eggs, honey and milk, set aside.
  2. In 9” x 13” greased pan evenly layout out bread.
  3. Pour egg mixture over bread.
  4. Chunk up cream cheese and put on top.
  5. Cover and leave in refrigerator overnight.
  6. In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle light layer of sugar and cinnamon on after baking.
  8. Serve with butter and syrup.
