Stuffed Chicken Breasts

I was making a recipe for chicken stuffed with herbs and cheese and totally missed more than half the recipe so this is what came of it and is now a favorite in my house. Show more

  1. Discard all of the fat and connecting tissue on the chicken breasts.
  2. Pound them to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Mix the parsley, oregano, Mrs.
  5. Dash together.
  6. Whip the butter and then add the herbs.
  7. Take the chicken and lay them flat.
  8. Spread half of the butter mixture evenly between the four chicken breasts.
  9. Top the butter with cheese divided between all chicken.
  10. Roll the chicken breasts tightly around the cheese and butter.
  11. Place the chicken rolls into the oil and cook until lightly browned,about five minutes.
  12. Transfer them to a baking dish.
  13. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  14. Melt the remaining butter and pour over the chicken rolls.
  15. Place in the oven and and bake about fifteen minutes.
  16. Basting them with the melted butter occasionaly.
  17. Pour the pan drippings over them when you serve.
