Strawberry Surprise Cake

Ingredients

• 2  cups miniature marshmallows
• 2  cups strawberries, sliced
• 3  ounces strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
• 2 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1  cup sugar
• 1⁄2 cup  Crisco
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1  cup milk
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 3  large eggs, beaten

Directions

1. Spread marshmallows on the bottom of a lightly greased 13x9" baking pan -- set aside.
2. Combine strawberries and their juices with jello -- set aside.
3. Blend remaining ingredients and pour over marshmallows.
4. Spoon strawberry mixture over the top.
5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
6. Reduce heat to 300° and continue baking for 15 minutes longer.
