Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients
- 1 large angel food cake
Custard
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
- 12 ounces whipping cream
Glaze
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups strawberries, chopped thick
Garnish
- strawberry
- mint leaf
Directions
- Beat the custard ingredients in a bowl til well combined.
- Glaze:.
- Cook the ingredients except strawberries in a saucepan on med heat until thick.
- Let it cool and then add your strawberries.
- Cut your angel food cake into med squares and layer cake, glaze, custard.
- Ending with the custard layer looks best.
- Top with your whole strawberries (I fan mine) and a few mint leaves.
