Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients
- 16 ounces frozen strawberries, in juice, thawed
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1⁄4 cup orange juice
- 1 cup hulled and sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon Grand Marnier (optional)
Directions
- In a food processor, slightly puree thawed berries and juice.
- Transfer to a medium saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch, and orange juice to saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and stir until thickened and juices are clear, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in fresh berries and liqueur, if using. Let cool before serving.
