Strawberry Sauce

I have not tried this recipe. I'm posting this recipe for safe keeping. I got this recipe from The Big Book Of Easy Suppers. This sauce is to be served over angel food cake, but is good on ice cream, plain cake, pancakes, and waffles. Show more

  1. In a food processor, slightly puree thawed berries and juice.
  2. Transfer to a medium saucepan. Add sugar, cornstarch, and orange juice to saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and stir until thickened and juices are clear, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in fresh berries and liqueur, if using. Let cool before serving.
